With nearly fifteen years of experience in personal, small group and team training, Taylor Jackson has transformed his early success in multi-sport athletics into a functional mastery of movement.

Raised in the woods of Vermont, Coach Taylor’s fitness career was sparked by an appreciation of the outdoors and a passion for play. As a competitive alpine ski racer and the college captain of his lacrosse team, he learned firsthand that complementary training not only improved his performance—it helped ensure he and his teammates could attack the field and the slopes season after season.

After earning an undergraduate degree in Physics at Wheaton College, Taylor began to apply a more methodical, scientific approach to his interest in fitness. As he progressed from novice trainer, to head coach, to the co-owner and director of programming for one of Colorado’s most respected boutique gyms, he consistently pursued additional certifications to advance his technical knowledge. In recent years, Taylor has complemented this private client experience with group training for young athletes at Evergreen High School, where he is currently the Head Strength + Conditioning Coach for the boys lacrosse program.

In launching Evergreen Performance, Taylor has committed the full range of his experience to helping professional, college and high school athletes—as well as ambitious weekend adventurers—level up their skills, strength and conditioning. His commitment to both measurable results and holistic wellness has helped hundreds of clients dramatically improve their game (literally and figuratively), while also preventing or successfully rehabbing the injuries that keep so many of us on the sidelines.
